The Federal High Court in Abuja has set November 20 as the date for judgment in Nnamdi Kanu’s terrorism trial.
Justice James Omotosho made this decision after Kanu failed to present his defense within the allotted six days, stating that Kanu has waived his right to a fair hearing.
Kanu, the embattled leader of the proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), has been in detention since 2021, facing seven counts of terrorism charges.
He has pleaded not guilty, claiming the charges are invalid.
