The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), has announced that the petition to recall the suspended lawmaker representing Kogi Central at the national assembly, Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan, did not meet the necessary legal requirements.
The electoral commission disclosed this in a statement issued on Thursday.
INEC in the statement noted that the petition failed to fulfill the conditions set under Section 69(a) of the 1999 Constitution (as amended).
