The National Judicial Commission [NJC] has reportedly dismissed Justice Mambo Akanbi, the Judge who gave the June 9, 2015, judgement that sacked the 22 Local Government chairmen in Rivers State.
The 22 chairmen were elected on the platform of the All progressives Congress [APC].
His dismissal was contained in a letter sent yesterday by the National Judicial Commission.
Recall that Justice Lambo Akanbi of the Federal High Court sitting in Port Harcourt was accused by the 22 APC local government chairmen of collecting N100 Million from Governor Nyesom Wike to sack them from office.
The NJC Investigated the accusation after Justice Akanbi delivered the controversial judgement which ordered the 22 APC chairmen to vacate office, and found it to be true.
