The Spokesman of Lawan’s group for Senate President, Senator Abdullahi Sabi on Wednesday debunked reports that Senators-elect were shocked about nominating Senator Ahmad Lawan as Senate President.
Sabi who revealed what transpired while addressing newsmen in Abuja there spontaneous applause by the Senators-elect when the Senator Lawan was recommended for the Senate President seat.
He said the National Chairman of the All Progressive Congress (APC) appealed to Senators-elect before recommending Ahamd Lawan for the Senate President seat in the meeting.
