BREAKING: Police Strikes Again, Arrest Journalist Tim Elombah

Published

on

Nigerian journalist and media executive, Tim Elombah, has been arrested by officers of the Nigeria Police Force in Anambra State.

Mr. Tim works for Diaspora Digital Media (DDM), an online Television Network owned by Nigerians in diaspora.

He was taken into custody on Saturday, July 5, at his Awka residence and transferred to Force Headquarters by operatives from the Intelligence Unit for interrogation.

Tim was arrested following a petition reportedly filed against him by an Estate mogul, suspected to be affiliated to Arthur Eze.

The specific content of the petition at the time of filing this report, has not been made public by the authorities.

Though, this is not the first time Elombah has clashed with law enforcement.

In 2018, he was arrested alongside his brother, Daniel Elombah by the operatives of the now-disbanded Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS).
