Bafana Bafana of South Africa have sent the hosts—Egypt crashing out of the Africa Cup of Nations [AFCON] going on in their home soil.

Thembinkosi Lorch scored the winning goal in the 85th minute of the second half.

South Africa will meet Nigeria in the quarter-finals after defeating Pharaohs of Egypt 1-0.
