BREAKING: Tinubu Angry With Buhari, Oshiomhole, Throws Away APC Flag

Share this:

The National Leader of the All Progressives Congress and former Lagos State Governor, Asiwaju Ahmed Tinubu, was visibly angry and threw away the APC flag.

This happened at the Ogun State presidential rally of the All Progressives Congress on Monday.
Tinubu was seen throwing the APC flag beside him away.

He was also seen rushing to where the President sat to discuss with him.

Tinubu was also seen leaving the stage in annoyance while the President was delivering his very short message to the people of the State.

It was learnt that the anger was caused by the embarrassment of the party by Governor Ibikunle Amosun’s loyalists.

During the rally, President Muhammadu Buhari, the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, Mr Adams Oshiomhole, and other APC leaders were booed and stoned.

Sources within the APC told our correspondent that Tinubu earlier warned Oshiomhole and Buhari against a similar occurrence.

The sources said that unlike campaigns in other states in South West where Tinubu was involved, he was just a guest at the Ogun rally.

Some of the sources said Tinubu was lobbied to attend the rally.

It will be recalled that APC in the state is divided.

While the Governor Ibikunle Amosun wants Adekunle Akinlade of the APM to succeed him, the APC is fielding Mr Dapo Abiodun.

The trouble started at the rally when the APC National Chairman mentioned the name of the party’s governorship candidate in the state, Mr Dapo Abiodun, while addressing the crowd.
