President Bola Tinubu has directed Nigeria’s Service Chiefs to relocate to Maiduguri, Borno State, to take charge of the security situation following recent deadly bomb attacks.

The directive comes after multiple explosions, carried out by suspected Boko Haram insurgents, killed more than 20 people and left over 100 others injured in the state capital.

In a statement issued shortly before departing for a state visit to the United Kingdom, Tinubu described the incident as deeply disturbing and extended condolences to victims and their families.
