The Nigerian military has rescued the wife of late retired Army General Rabe Abubakar from captivity in a successful operation.
According to military sources, the rescue was masterminded by troops during ongoing clearance and search operations targeting criminal elements responsible for kidnappings and other security threats.
The source also disclosed that the widow has since been reunited with her family and is receiving necessary medical attention and support.
