The Director General of BudgIT, Mr. Oluseun Onigbinde, has condemned the President Muhammadu Buhari-led Federal Government, as well as the leadership of the National Assembly over the recent $800m ‘consumption’ loan taken by the Government, saying it is “illogical”.
Mr. Onígbindé made the remarks during an interview on Channels TV via the programme “Hard Copy”, alongside Activist Hamzat Lawal.
Speaking, Onígbindé urged the National Assembly to step up and do its job properly and save the country from the disaster staring it in the face.
Onigbinde and Lawal expressed concern over the Nigerian Government’s endless borrowing plan from the World Bank, which in the last episode was an $800 million loan.
