President Muhammadu Buhari has approved the appointment of Abubakar Garba as the new Registrar General of the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC).
Confirming the development, CAC wrote on its Twitter handle:
“We wish to inform members of the public of the appointment of AG Abubakar as Registrar-General, Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC).
“His appointment which was conveyed to him by the Hon. Minister, Federal Ministry of Industry, Trade and Investment, [yesterday], 9th January, 2020.”
It could be recalled that recently, the Acting Corporate Affairs Commission Director General, Mrs. Azuka Obiageli Azinge was removed from office over “miscellaneous offences”.
