The former media aide to president Goodluck Jonathan, Reno Omokri has once again attacked president Mohammadu Buhari and the former Chief of Army Staff, Tukur Buratai.
Reno Omokri who is popularly known as Buhari tormentor said that the recent dismissal of Buratai from the top military brass will not stop him and Buhari from facing prosecution at the International Criminal Court over the Lekki massacre.
Th fiery US based pastor said there is documentary evidence ready and waiting to nail Buratai and Buhari over Lekki progrom. He went further to describe Buratai and Buhari as cowards that are only strong when they see innocent, unarmed protesters. But when they see Boko Haram, they run.
Reno Omokri in statement said, “Buratai, your sack is not the end. You and #Buhari must be tried by the International Criminal Court. We have documentary evidence ready and waiting. Run to your Dubai house.
“Every ring of the door he’ll will rob you of peace of mind. Is this the day I will be arrested. Both you and General Buhari will never have peace and happiness in your sorry lives for what you did at #LekkiMassacre. And when you die, you will also face God!
“Cowards that are only strong when they see innocent, unarmed protesters. But when you see Boko Haram, you run.”
Recall that the army during the #Endsars peaceful protests invaded the Lekki toll gate and opened fire on peaceful protesters which led to the unfortunate death of innocent Nigerians. The army initially denied ever invading the Lekki toll but suddenly made a u-turn after Nigerians countered their narrative with undeniable facts and figures.
However, Buhari in the evening of today, finally fired the Service Chiefs after a long outcry by Nigerians. Fresh hands have been appointed to manage the top security brass but the main question now is, can these new service Chiefs turn the security tide at the moment?
Nigerians are desperately waiting to see these fresh hands revising the unfortunate security situation of the moment.
