The Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) has once again pushed back the implementation of its revised service fees, now set to take effect on October 1, 2025.
In a public notice issued on Saturday from Abuja, the CAC explained that the decision was made to prioritize the complete stabilization of its upgraded Company Registration Portal (CRP), which is expected to be fully operational by mid-September.
This marks the second postponement of the revised fees, which were initially slated for August 1 before being shifted to September 1 due to technical challenges on the new platform.
The latest delay, according to the CAC, reflects its dedication to ensuring a seamless and efficient transition that delivers maximum value to customers and stakeholders.
The Commission emphasized that this move underscores its commitment to providing customer-centric and globally competitive services.
It expressed gratitude to its customers and stakeholders for their patience and cooperation during what it described as a critical period of transformation.
CAC also reaffirmed its dedication to building an intelligent registry system that aligns with Nigeria’s ease of doing business reforms.
By taking this step, the CAC aims to ensure that the revised service fees are implemented smoothly, with minimal disruption to businesses and individuals alike.
