Super Falcons of Nigeria in Abuja on Friday defeated the Bayana Bayana, South Africa’s female national team ahead the CAF Olympic qualifiers by a lone goal.

The two legged affair ended Friday evening with Nigeria wining setting up a second leg encounter in South Africa.

Super Falcons of Nigeria took the lead from a penalty kick taken by Rashidat Ajibade on the 43rd minutes.

The Super Falcons of Nigeria have previously failed to qualify for the 2012, 2016, and 2020 editions of the Olympics in London, Rio de Janeiro, and Tokyo, respectively.

Super Falcons of Nigeria and The Banyana Banyana of South Africa are  battling for one of the 2 slots available for Africa today in Abuja before the second leg in South Africa.
