Canadian police probe woman who threatened to poison Nigerians

Canadian police authorities have commenced investigation after one Amaka Patience Sonnberger during a virtual meeting on TikTok space, threatened to poison Nigerians of Yoruba and Edo natives.

The Nigerian House of Representatives and the Nigerians in Diaspora Commission (NIDCOM), formally wrote letters to Canadian authorities to probe the woman.

A representative of the Toronto Police Service, Sergeant Bassey Osagie, confirmed to PUNCH Newspaper that the matter was being taken seriously.

“This incident has been reported to the Toronto Police Service and is currently under investigation”
