Carter Efe Fires Shots at Yhemo Lee Over Earnings Claims

Nigerian content creator Carter Efe has publicly criticized fellow influencer Yhemo Lee, sparking fresh drama within the online entertainment space.

In a strongly worded statement shared online, Carter Efe accused Yhemo Lee of exaggerating his financial success, particularly claims about earning amounts comparable to what multiple skit creators make from several videos in a single night. Dismissing the assertion, Carter Efe countered with his own experience, stating that he earned at least $50,000 per skit video during the peak of his career.

The comedian did not hold back, further mocking Yhemo Lee’s lifestyle and questioning his achievements. He suggested that owning a Chevrolet Camaro had inflated Yhemo Lee’s self-perception, comparing his confidence to that of billionaire entrepreneur Elon Musk, while adding that he allegedly does not yet own a house.

The exchange has since generated widespread reactions across social media, with fans divided over the claims. While some sided with Carter Efe, praising his transparency about content creation earnings, others defended Yhemo Lee, arguing that success can be measured in different ways beyond public displays of wealth.
