Prof Ango Abdullahi, Chairman of Northern Elders Forum (NEF) has lost his eldest son, Isah Ango Abdullahi after a brief illness.
A family source who confirmed the death said that Isah died in Abuja Thursday evening.
His remains will be ferried to Zaria today for funeral prayers.
The source however said that prayers will be held at Haruna Danja Juma’at Mosque at about 1.30pm.
Until his death, Isa was a staff member of the Nigerian Intelligence Agency (NIA) in Abuja.
He is survived by a wife and children.
