Chinese Foreign Minister visits Nigeria

Wang Yi, Chinese Foreign Minister, will arrive in Abuja, Nigeria, on Wednesday for an official visit.

On Tuesday, Ministry of Foreign Affairs spokesperson Kimiebi Ebienfa announced Wang Yi’s arrival. He will be received by Ambassador Dunoma Ahmed at Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport.

During his visit, Wang Yi will meet with Foreign Affairs Minister Yusuf Maitama Tuggar on Thursday, January 9th, 2025. They will discuss strengthening Nigeria-China relations.

Additionally, Wang Yi will pay a courtesy call on President Bola Ahmed Tinubu at the Presidential Villa. He will deliver a special message from the Chinese President.
