Coalition members move to take over ADC in Imo

The African Democratic Congress (ADC) in Imo State is gearing up for the 2027 general elections with a renewed sense of purpose.

The ADC has launched this campaign in Imo State, signaling its determination to take power from the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) led government.

This initiative aims to bring about a ballot revolution, emphasizing the party’s commitment to democratic processes.

The ADC has been engaging with coalition partners, strengthening its position in Imo State.

During a Convergence of Coalition Partners Meeting in Owerri, the party’s National Vice Chairman South East, Chilos Godsent, declared the ADC’s intention to defeat the APC in the 2027 general elections.

Despite its growing momentum, the ADC faces significant hurdles, including lack of Grassroots Structures.

The party needs to build a stronger presence at the grassroots level to effectively mobilize support.

Securing adequate funding will be crucial for the ADC’s success in the 2027 elections.

Managing internal differences and ensuring cohesion within the party will be essential to its success.

The party is working to unite opposition forces, with notable figures like Alhaji Sule Lamido expressing support for the ADC coalition.

The ADC will need to navigate the zoning controversy, which has been a key determinant of political sentiments in Nigeria.

The party aims to win over the youth demographic, which has been a deciding factor in general elections since 2015.

The ADC is vastly gaining ground and membership, as many Imo Citizens embrace the party it sees  as a new trend in Political  mobilization in Imo State.

Sources said the major success recorded by the ADC party in such a short in Imo is the peaceful manner the Old members are welcoming the tumultuous new members porting into the party.

The Leaders have received the State Chairman, Prof James Okoroma with open arms and have asked their followers to go out in mass and register with ADC.

Two of the major Leaders of the party in Imo State, His Excellency Rt Hon Emeka Ihedioha and Hon Emeka Nwajiuba have asked their followers to work harmoniously with the old and new members.

Meanwhile, a former Governor of Imo State, Rt Hon Emeka Ihedioha has asked members of his Political Family, The Rebuild Imo Movement RIM to Collapse the structure across the twenty seven Local Governments in Imo into ADC.

Following this directive by Ihedioha, his teeming followers have been announcing their Membership of ADC and waiting the commencement of registration which will start with Membership registration next week.

Already all the members of Rebuild Imo Movement have joined the ADC.
