The convoy of the governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress [APC] in Taraba State, Sani Danladi, has been attacked by suspected hoodlums.
Commissioner of Police in the state, David Akinremi, told journalists in Jalingo, the state capital, that Danladi was heading to Ibi local government area when he was attacked in Wukari local government area, the only route to the area.
Wukari local government area is over 270 kilometres away from Jalingo the state capital.
Meanwhile, the state government is getting set to issue a press statement regarding the incident.
