Court remands Naira Marley, Sam Larry, others over MohBad’s death

A Magistrate Court sitting in Yaba, Lagos State, has ordered that singer Azeez Fashola, popularly known as Naira Marley, and Lagos socialite, Balogun Eletu, also known as Sam Larry, be remanded to police custody over the death of singer MohBad.

Magistrate Adeola Olatunbosun gave the order on Wednesday, October 4 following the arrest of Naira Marley on Tuesday.

The prosecuting team of the Lagos State Police Command had requested that Naira Marley and the others be held in its custody for 30 days while the investigation lasts.

However, Magistrate Olatunbosun turned down the 30-day request and directed that the suspects be remanded for 21 days.
