The Federal High Court sitting in Ikoyi, Lagos, has reserved its ruling on the bail application filed by social media influencer and self-styled relationship therapist, Okoro Blessing Nkiruka, popularly known as Blessing CEO.
Justice D.I. Dipeolu adjourned the matter to June 9, 2026, after hearing arguments from both the prosecution and defence counsel.
Blessing CEO is currently facing a two-count charge brought by the Lagos Zonal Directorate of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), bordering on alleged fraud and stealing amounting to N36 million.
According to the EFCC, the defendant allegedly obtained the sum from a petitioner under the false pretence of securing a lease for a property located in the Lekki area of Lagos State.
The social media personality was first arraigned before the court on May 15, 2026. The case was subsequently adjourned to June 5, 2026, for the hearing of her bail application.
Following the conclusion of arguments, the court has now fixed June 9 for its ruling on the bail request.
In the meantime, Blessing CEO will remain in custody pending the court’s decision.
The case continues to draw public attention, given Blessing CEO’s high-profile presence on social media and her controversial reputation as a relationship commentator.
