Popular Nigerian singer, Azeez Fashola known as ‘Naira Marley’ on Saturday night held a concert amid Coronavirus pandemic.
The Singer defied the lockdown order by Federal Capital Territory Administration (FCTA) held the concert at Jabi Lake Mall in Abuja.
Naira Marley in a viral video was seen in a gathering of more than twenty people.
He was also accompanied by ex-BBNaija housemate, KimOprah who hosted the concert.
Alhough Nigeria has began reopening of the economy, the country has been experiencing increasing cases of coronavirus in the past few days.
In April, Naira Marley was arraigned in Magistrate Court, Ogba Lagos for violating lockdown order by Lagos state government.
On 10 May 2019, the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) arrested Naira Marley and his friends Zlatan, Tiamiu Kayode, Adewunmi Moses and Abubakar Musa.
The arrest was made a day after he released the video for the controversial single “Am I A Yahoo Boy
He is currently facing trial at the Federal High Court to face his charges.
