Crisis between El-Rufai, Shehu Sani Depeens

The political fight between Governor of Kaduna state,  Nasir El-rufai and Senator Shehu Sani  depeened as the Kaduna state is excluded from foreign loan. 

The Chairman of the Senate committee on Foregin loans and debt,  Senator Shehu who submitted second batch of the report  is not in good terms with the El-Rufai. 

The first batch was submitted three months ago. 

States benefited from the first batch of the states that benefited from the loan are Enugu, Ebonyi, Kano, Ondo, Abia and Plateau .

However, The chairman only submitted Ogun state request for  $350 million for consideration leaving Jigawa, Katsina and Kaduna state to fate. 

Last week,  a report appeared in the newspaper that the Shehu sani led Committee demanded $25 million before the could be approved. 

On several occasions both El-rufai and Shehu Sani had engaged in verbal warning over the political differences in Kaduna state. 

The total amount requested by the 10 states according to the letter from Presidency is $1.49billion .
