There’s crisis presently rocking the All Progressives Congress [APC] leadership of Anambra State chapter ahead of the 2017 gubernatorial election coming up on November 18.
Elombah.com gathered that a group led by the state Secretary, has written a petition to the National Chairman, John Oyegun alleging that the state chairman, Barr Emeka Ibe had conspired with one of the aspirants to doctor the delegate list.
According to a source at the National Headquarters of APC, Abuja, the state chairman was also accused of not carrying other members of the executive along.
The source said that the state Secretary and the legal adviser have been invited to Abuja to meet with the National Chairman over the petition.
The petition is asking the APC leadership to investigate their claims and suspend Barr Emeka Ibe as well as screen out the aspirant involved in the delegate list scandal.
