Legend, Cristiano Ronaldo has broken the hearts of all Manchester United fans by claiming that he plans to retire at Real Madrid.

The Portuguese sensation spent six seasons with the Red Devils, scoring 118 goals and winning nine trophies with the club in one of their most successful ever eras.

With Ronaldo’s contract at Madrid expiring in 2018, many United supporters were praying the 31-year-old would make a return to Old Trafford but he looks to have ended these hopes.

‘It’s obvious I want to stay I here. I think I am going to retire at Real Madrid,’ Ronaldo told La Sexta’s ‘Jugones’ show.

‘Renewal after the Champions League final? Let’s see. Real Madrid would be smart if they extend my contract.’

Paris Saint-Germain have also been linked with the forward but it appears they will have to look elsewhere for Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s replacement.
