Cross River Workers Kick As Ayade Pays May Salaries On Worker’s Day

The state chairman of the Nigeria Labour Congress, Mr John Ushie, has said that the union had advised against the payment of salaries in advance despite that some state governors are facing difficulty to pay their workers’ salaries.

It should be noted that Cross River state governor, Ben Ayade has paid May salaries of the workers in the state.

The salaries was said to have been paid on April 30, when the governor ordered that the May salaries of workers be paid.

It should also be noted that most of the states are finding it difficult to meet up with the salaries of their workers, regularly.

 Some state governors currently owe their workers between five and seven month’s salaries.
