CVR: Ukachukwu pledges N2m reward for ward with highest registration drive

The All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate in the coming November 8, 2025, election, Prince Nicholas Ukachukwu has pledged a cash reward of N2 million to any of the 326 wards in the State that records the highest number of registered voters.

This came on the heels of the kickoff of Continuous Voters Registration (CVR) exercise in Anambra State ahead the coming election.

Prince Ukachukwu spoke at the ongoing “thank you” tour at Ogidi.

The APC flag bearer urged all relevant eligible voters to participate in the on-going CVR for this year poll.

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) had announced the commencement of CVR across the country.

This, INEC, said, is to allow eligible voters obtain voter cards before the July 17th, 2025, deadline while those seeking to replace lost voter cards should validate them online.

The governorship candidate addressed the mammoth crowd who came to welcome him at the Nkwo Ogidi market and St. Mark”s Ojoto respectively during the continuation of his “Thank You Tour” of the 21 Councils Areas.

He decried the high-level deterioration of general environment and insecurity across the state.

Consequently, he promised to fix the anomalies so as to upgrade the living standard of the people.

He promised the electorate that when he’s voted into office, he would eliminate kidnappings, killings and all anti-social behaviors in order to provide an enabling environment for positive transformation of the state.

His running mate, Senator Uche Ekwunife also called on voters to use their votes and unseat the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) administration led by Prof Chukwuma Soludo.

Senator Ekwunife added that APC would take over the power come November 8, 2025.

Stakeholders of the party in the area pledged total support and backing for Ukachukwu and Ekwunife on November 8.

These include the Anambra State Chairman of APC, Chief Basil Ejidike; and the Woman Leader, Mrs Maria Ejielo.

Others are Idemili North LGA Chairman, Chief Charles Obadike; and former South East Youth Leader of APC, Chief Olisaemeka Onyeka.
