Denver Broncos Linebacker Jonathon Cooper Arrested on Domestic Violence Charges

Denver Broncos linebacker Jonathon Cooper has been arrested in Colorado, United States, following allegations of domestic violence and criminal mischief.

The 28-year-old NFL player was taken into custody by law enforcement officers on Thursday night and subsequently booked into a detention facility at approximately 2:38 a.m. on Friday, according to official records.

While details surrounding the incident remain limited, Cooper is currently facing two counts related to domestic violence, along with additional charges of criminal mischief.

Authorities have confirmed that the athlete is expected to appear before a judge for an initial hearing, with a follow-up court date scheduled for June 8, 2026.

Cooper, who played college football at Ohio State University, was selected by the Denver Broncos in the seventh round of the 2021 NFL Draft. Since joining the team, he has developed into a key figure in the Broncos’ defensive lineup.

During the previous season, he recorded 8 sacks and 50 tackles, contributing significantly to the team’s performance.
