Dr. Peter Afunanya, Spokesperson, Department of State Services (DSS), National Headquarters, Abuja said the Service and the Nigeria Police Force (NPF) are jointly investigating the alleged attack on a Police Corporal in Osun state.
Afunanya stated this on Wednesday, in a statement made available to elombah.com.
According to the statement, the “Service and the Police are jointly investigating the matter.”
While assuring the public that justice will be done into the matter upon completion of investigation, Afunanya also appealed to members of the public to be rest assured that it will not condone any acts of indiscipline or injustice.
He therefore called on the media and other stakeholders to exercise patience and await the outcome of the investigations.
