Ecuador has defeated Qatar 2-0 in the first opening game of 2022 FIFA world.

Qatar which is the host country were dazzled in the first half of the game when Enner Valencia, the Ecuadorian captain put his team ahead by scoring two goals.

The experienced striker scored the first goal from the penalty spot in 16th minutes after he was brought down by the Qatari goalkeeper, Saad Alsheeb.

However, in the 26 minutes, he scored another stunner when he headed a cross into the net that finally sealed the game for his team.
