EFCC Is The Embodiment Of Corruption ― George Uboh

The Chief Executive Officer of Panic Alert Security Systems (PASS), Dr. George Uboh has declared the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission [EFCC] the embodiment of corruption.

Dr. Uboh said this in an interview with Elombah.com on Saturday wherein he stated that he has shipload of documents to indict the anti-graft agency.

Uboh said that the rot in EFCC reach its crescendo during the chairmanship of the sacked Ibrahim Lamorde.

He said he has evidences that EFCC withheld N1.99 trillion which was due to be transferred to the coffers of the federal government.

The self-acclaimed “number one corruption fighter in the country” pledged that he is ready to partner the government of the day, not only to recover the said sum, but to save up to N50 trillion from rats.

He said all the government needs to do is to plug all the loopholes through which monies are being siphoned, especially the banking sector.

Uboh also recalled that the corruption in question dated as far back as when Mallam Nuhu Ribadu was at the helm of events at the agency.

He expressly stated that EFCC is the main reason why Nigeria cannot fight corruption, hence, provided a blueprint to eliminate, or at least reduce, corruption to reasonable level.

In an earlier report, published on 30 March, 2017, had written an open letter to President Muhammadu Buhari in a renewed bid to fight corruption to a standstill.

Dr. Uboh, it could be recalled, blew the whistle on the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission [EFCC]’s stealing and failure to remit the N1.993 Trillion Naira.

In the letter, he assured Mr. President that if he could grant him the sought-for audience, he can easily recover 20 Trillion Naira stolen funds in Nigeria.

Finally, to drive his point home, Dr. Uboh said he is willing to waive his right to trial and willingly submit himself to prison to serve 5 years if any document he tenders is fake, adulterated or manipulated.
