Emeka Anyaoku hails Buhari on 80th birthday

A former Secretary General of Commonwealth between 2000 and 2010, Chief Emeka Anyaoku, has congratulated President Muhammadu Buhari on his 80th birthday.

This was contained in a memo addressed to the president seen by News Band.

Chief Anyaoku wrote: “H.E. President Muhammadu Buhari GCFR, Commander-in-Chief of armed forces, Federal Republic of Nigeria, please accept my warmest felicitations on your 80th birthday.

“History will record your remarkable feat of twice leading our country as a military Head of State and a twice democratically elected President with a truly outstanding patriotism and dedication to the service of our country, our compatriots and humanity.

“We celebrate you and thank the Almighty for your life and pray to Him to grant you many more years of good health and happiness.
