Emeka Kalu emerges RATTAWU’s first national president from S’east

Prince Emeka Kalu has been elected as the first National President from the Southeast region of the Radio, Television, and Theatre Arts Workers Union of Nigeria (RATTAWU).

Kalu’s election marks a significant breakthrough in the union’s leadership, reflecting its commitment to the doctrine of national character.

Kalu has promised to lead the union with a sense of responsibility, building on its strengths and addressing challenges facing its members.

The election was contested, with other aspirants including Comrade Jasper Taiwo Falae and Mr. Dare Durosimi.

Kalu’s success is seen as a testament to the union’s commitment to promoting unity and cooperation.

The Managing Director of Anambra Broadcasting Service (ABS), Mr. Chris Molokwu, had expressed optimism about Kalu’s chances, commending the unity and support among leaders in the Southeast zone.

RATTAWU embarks on a new chapter under Kalu’s leadership, with members and stakeholders eager to see the impact of his presidency on the union’s future.
