EPL drama as Chelsea stumble, Arsenal and Tottenham cruise to victories

(DDM) – The English Premier League witnessed a dramatic weekend of action as Chelsea were held to a frustrating 2-2 draw, while Arsenal and Tottenham enjoyed emphatic 3-0 victories.

DDM gathered that Chelsea traveled to the Brentford Community Stadium seeking to extend their winning streak, but were denied maximum points in stoppage time‍

The Blues dominated possession in the opening stages, pressing Brentford deep and creating several half chances.

Despite their bright start, it was the Bees who struck first in the 35th minute through Kevin Schade.

The forward finished off a counter-attack with clinical precision, sending Brentford into halftime with a 1-0 lead.

Chelsea responded in the second half after introducing Cole Palmer from the bench.

The young midfielder made an immediate impact, scoring the equalizer in the 61st minute with a composed finish.

The late goal left Mauricio Pochettino’s men disappointed as they dropped vital points after believing they had secured victory.

Elsewhere, Arsenal returned to form with a commanding display against Nottingham Forest at the Emirates Stadium.

The Gunners controlled the game from start to finish, showcasing precision passing and attacking flair.

 

New signing Martin Zubimendi starred with a well-taken brace, while Viktor Gyökeres added a third to seal a 3-0 triumph.
