The leader of the proscribed Indigenous People Of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu in conjunction with IPOB women-wing in the United States of America will host a fund raising zoom meeting on the 19th of February for Eastern Security Network.

Recall that Kanu have been in the news of recent after he sneaked into the United States of America and posed in a very controversial picture on valentine’s day with his press secretary, Carolyn Uchenna Okorafor who took over from Amaka Ekwo after she was disgracefully booted out of the organization.

Meanwhile, a source close to the movement told ElombahNews that fund raising was part of the things that brought the fiery leader of the separatist movement to United States of America.

Since the Directorate Of State (DOS), the highest decision making body of the movement suspended monthly contributions made by its members after it came under serious attack based on how funds contributed are used, IPOB has been in dire need of money in order to sustain the shadow Security outfit.

However, all is not well with the separatist movement as many who used to be sympathetic to Kanu’s call for fund have retreated back to their shell, accusing him of insincerity and embezzlement.

 

Some said he did not account for previous funds contributed by different donors across the globe.
