Former Minister of Lands and Housing, Nduese Essien don condemn wetin Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Festus Keyamo dey plan to build new Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) facility for aircraft for Naija, for one place wey dem no mention.

E question Federal Government sincerity for developing programmes.

Di former minister talk say e go beta make dem focus on di MRO project for Akwa Ibom airport instead of consider new project.

E note say di project for Akwa Ibom don dey abandoned for 20 years and e don reach 95% completion level.

According to am, “Dis new MRO wey dem dey propose na di first for di country, while di MRO project for Akwa Ibom airport don dey since over 20 years and dem talk say e dey 95% completion level.”

Di former Minister remember say, “For November 2023, di Minister of Aviation, Chief Festus Keyamo, SAN, visit Akwa Ibom State.”

Afta dem carry am waka round di terminal building, di MRO and di 3.6km taxiway (wey dem dey call di second runway) e talk say ‘Akwa Ibom State na Naija best kept secret.’
