The Executive Secretary of the National Health Insurance Scheme (NHIS), Mr Usman Yusuf has been suspended.
Elombah.com gathered that he was axed by the Minister of Health, Mr Isaac Adewole on Thursday.
Yusuf was suspended over alleged fraudulent acts in the health insurance scheme running into N292 million.
Recall that Senate, weeks earlier, launched investigations into the activities of Mr Yusuf
Elombah.com gathered, however, that the accused has denied the allegations.
