EXPOSED: How Uzodimma plans to declare statewide curfew on Friday ~ by Chinwe Uzoma

Plans by Governor Hope Uzodimma of Imo State to flood Imo State with thugs and fake security agents on Election Day have been busted by eagle eyed Imolites and journalists.

According to a source who was briefed by some APC big wigs in Imo State over the governor’s election plans, the Omuma magician has allegedly concluded plans to declare a curfew across Imo State from Thursday or Friday in order to stop members of other political Parties from concluding their election logistics and plans, while he would allegedly hide under the cover of the curfew to move thugs and fake police officers across different parts of the State, especially, areas where he considers the opposition to be very popular.

Our correspondent gathered that the governor has mapped out Ideato Federal Constituency, with special focus on Ideato North, NINN Federal Constituency, Orlu, Orsu and Oru-East federal constituency and Owerri Federal Constituency as areas where he will deploy the highest number of thugs and fake police officers to harass, intimidate and if they meet any resistance, assassinate anyone who dares to stand question the activities of such thugs.

The governor who is alleged to have trained about 4000 APC members as electoral officials is said to be conniving with some high ranking officials of INEC in Imo State to replace those originally trained as INEC ad-hoc staff for this election with APC members who will be deployed across the voting areas in the State to enable him subvert the election results.

Recall that Uzodimma was declared governor with results purportedly tabulated by some INEC ad-hoc staff that was recruited by his allies in the INEC, one of whom is alleged to be a spouse to a top member of his cabinet. Analysts believe that the governor might be attempting a reenact his notorious electoral magic of fabricating results and using compromised INEC staff and returning officers to subvert the will of the people.

Part of the plans which is said to have given the governor confidence of imposing his stooges as members of the National Assembly is to get the actual number of accredited voters from each ward and use same to fill out result sheets in favour of his preferred candidates and get the Returning officers to declare the results as early as possible to forestall any chances of protests by other political candidates and Parties.

The Governor is said to have vowed to do everything it takes to ensure that he delivers all his anointed candidates in the election in order to consolidate his Supreme Court given power and shut members of the opposition up, permanently.
