Fake Consultants: You Goofed! George Uboh Tells Governors’ Forum [Video]

Nigeria’s foremost whistleblower and chairman of Panic Alert System [PASS], Dr. George Uboh has slammed Nigeria Governors’ Forum [NGF] over appointment of fake contractors.

The anti-corruption Czar, during a brief interview with Elombah.com, expressed shock with the Governors’ Forum on learning that they hired fake consultants instead of paying him his dues.

Elombah.com gathered that the governors had hired him to fight the President Goodluck Jonathan’s administration’s policy on illegal deductions of allocations on June 15, 2014.

Dr. Uboh immediately and deftly went into the mud with the Jonathan’s administration and secured judgment prompting the federal government to release the withheld sums.

Along the line of action, he criticised the judgement of the presiding judge, Justice Ademola who, time and again, either contradicted himself, or was forced to rescind his own judgement.

Amazingly, three years after, Dr. Uboh is yet to be paid or at least receive a pat on the back for a job well done.

Shockingly, rather, news broke out that the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission [EFCC] arrested some fake consultants hired by NGF as front to divert the sum.

The ploy was to divert, not only George Uboh’s payment of about 47 million dollars, but a large chunk of the monies released by the federal government.

A bewildered George Uboh was on screen wondering how on earth personnels who are meant to be honourable, would condescend as low as swindling him after hiring him officially.

He lamented that if corruption has indeed gone this far, then, Nigeria is indeed a failed state.
