The Nigerian relationship group popularly known as the Feral Throuple has announced the end of its three-person relationship, with Chidinma and Jeffrey confirming that their relationship with their third partner has come to an end.
The couple made the announcement while addressing their followers, explaining that the decision was not triggered by a scandal, betrayal or dramatic disagreement.
According to them, the relationship simply stopped working as a three-person arrangement, leading them to move forward as a couple.
“We are no longer in a three-person relationship. It’s now Chidinma and Jeffrey. There is no scandal or dramatic story or reason behind it, it just did not work,” they explained.
The announcement marks a major change for the trio, who had gained significant attention online for openly documenting their unconventional relationship and discussing topics including love, jealousy, intimacy, trust and the challenges of maintaining a relationship involving three people.
Chidinma and Jeffrey had been together before the third woman became part of their relationship. Over time, the trio built an online following and became known for sharing aspects of their relationship with the public.
Their decision to announce the split has since generated reactions from social media users, with some followers expressing surprise because of how closely the trio had previously appeared to be connected.
Despite the development, Chidinma and Jeffrey stressed that there was no major controversy behind the separation. They maintained that relationships can change over time and that sometimes people simply reach a point where continuing together is no longer possible.
The announcement has nevertheless sparked speculation among some followers, with social media users questioning what may have happened privately between the three.
However, the couple has not disclosed any further details about the circumstances surrounding the separation and appears to be asking the public to respect the decision.
The development also brings an end to a relationship arrangement that had attracted considerable public interest because of the trio’s willingness to discuss their private lives openly.
While the three-person relationship has ended, Chidinma and Jeffrey remain together and are now continuing their relationship as a couple.
As reactions continue online, the former Feral Throuple’s announcement has once again sparked conversations about unconventional relationships, personal boundaries and the challenges that can arise when private relationships become public.
