Fire outbreak rocks IC World Emporia Centre in Abuja

Raging fire early Wednesday morning gutted a shopping mall known as IC World Emporia Centre, a popular shopping arena in Gwarimpa, Abuja the Federal Capital Territory, along Kubwa expressway way, Abuja.

 

The fire was reported to have started in the early hours of Wednesday.

 

Viral videos online show fire burning through the roof of the building. However, officials of the FCT Fire Service have been battling to put it off with goods and property already destroyed.

 

This report is coming barely 12 hours after an explosion, believed to have been caused by activities of illegal miners, rocking the capital of Oyo State, Ibadan the largest city in West Africa.

 

A Similar incident occurred months after Ebeano Supermarket and Next Cash and Carry in Abuja went up in flames.
