Five Days To The Igbo International Retreat At Uburu In Ebonyi State

THOUSANDS OF IGBOS IN THE DIASPORA AND AT HOME READY TO STORM THE TOWN. ECONOMIC , POLITICAL AND OTHER ISSUES TO DOMINATE THE RETREAT.

Thousands of Igbos from abroad and within Nigeria have started flooding the East for the International Easter Retreat for Ndigbo in the Diaspora whch holds at Uburu in Ebonyi state on 14 April, 2017.

The event will attract who is who in Igbo land and the theme is NDIGBO YESTERDAY, TODAY AND TOMORROW.

Meanwhile, The Governors and political leaders in Igbo Land  have indicated their interest to attend the unique event being hosted by the Minister for Science and Technology Dr Ogbonnaya Onu .

The event will also witness the flag off of the Igbo Youth and Women Empowernment Foundation and the Igbo hall of fame /cenotaph . 

It is expected that Igbo Student leaders, youth leaders, women leaders , clergy , traditional rulers and opinion leaders will all be at the event.

The event is organised by the IGBO INFORMATIONA AND COMMUNICATION NETWORK AND THE WORLD IGBO LEADERSHIP, EDUCATION AND CULTURAL COUNCIL . The LOC Chairman of the event Pastor Edomobi Promise noted that the event is the first of its kind in Igbo land,
