Despite the tensions, some Israelis found ways to enjoy their Shabbat, with families sneaking out to the beach during brief periods of calm and Pride celebrants organizing spontaneous pool parties.

Videos showed neighbors dancing in bomb shelters, and a baby was born in a hospital that had moved its operations underground.

Israel’s most influential rabbis urged citizens to avoid large gatherings and prioritize life over Shabbat observance.

Israel’s airport was closed, with all flights canceled, including those of the national carrier El Al.

Rabbis in the Diaspora retooled their Shabbat plans, with some rewriting sermons and adding prayers for peace and protection.

Iran sent a fresh barrage of missiles towards Israel, prompting another round of sirens and explosions.

Alerts advised Israelis to stay close to new shelters or bunkers and avoid traveling far from safe areas.

The ongoing conflict has left many Israelis feeling uneasy and uncertain about the future, with some seeking to carry on with daily life despite the risks.

Meanwhile, an Israeli woman who was critically wounded by Iranian missiles succumbed to her wounds early Saturday morning.

Numerous calls were received by the 102 emergency hotline in the Gush Dan area following an Iranian missile attack, Israel’s Fire and Rescue Authority announced on Friday night.

Firefighting teams were dispatched to two main areas, one in Tel Aviv and one in Ramat Gan, after fires were reported due to the strikes.

According to the statement, extensive damage was caused in Tel Aviv, and there were concerns about people trapped. In Ramat Gan, there is structural damage as well as people trapped. Over 77 others have been reportedly injured.

Iranian Airport attacked on Saturday morning by Israeli IDF

The Mehrabad Airport caught fire early on Saturday morning after explosions were heard in Tehran, according to Iranian media reports.

Two projectiles reportedly struck the airport, according to Fars News Agency.

The affluent Aghdasieh neighborhood in northern Tehran was also struck in the early hours of Saturday morning, according to dissident media site Iran International.
