Forgery: Group calls for arrest of ex-Assemblies of God overseer

Concerned Youths of Assemblies of God has called the Police to arrest a former General Superintendent of Assemblies of God Nigeria, Rev Dr Paul Emeka.

As the September 19th date adjourned by the Upper Area Court draws closer, Concerned Youths Of Assemblies of God Nigeria has called the Nigerian Police Force to arrest a former General Superintendent of Assemblies of God Nigeria, Rev Dr Paul Emeka.

The Group In a Statement Released on Monday in Aba  argued that Rev Dr Paul Emeka has lost the moral and legal right to occupy any property of Assemblies Of God Nigeria due to his Certificate Forgery case which is likely going to send him to Jail.

The Group called on the Inspector General of Police to enforce the February 4th 2016 Court Order by Justice Umar Yusuf Kargako of the Upper Area Court which requested the Nigerian Police Force to arrest him and forward the Full Investigation Report the force carried out on the Case.

“We read in the Papers Today (Yesterday) that the Nigerian Police Force has finally forwarded the Criminal case File of Rev Dr Paul Emeka to the Attorney General as requested, it will also be fair that the Police arrest him and produce him in Court on the 19th of September 2016”

“Rev Dr Paul Emeka has lost the moral and legal right to mount any Assemblies of God Nigeria Pulpit or even occupy any Property of the Church due to his Certificate Forgery case which is a criminal case pending before the Court”

The group also commended the Attorney General of the Federal Republic of Nigeria for breaking the bones of Rev Dr Paul Emeka by taken over the Prosecution of Rev Paul Emeka.

It will be recalled that the Upper Area Court had adjourned till on the 19th Of September 2016 to enable the Attorney General study previous Proceedings and amend the Charges where necessary
