Elombah.com just gathered that the former Governor of Abia State, Chief Orji Uzor Kalu has defected to the ruling All Progressives Congress [APC].
He was received by the National Chairman of APC, John Oyegun to the party.

Chief Kalu is currently being prosecuted by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission [EFCC] over multi billion naira allegations of corruption and embezzlement perpetrated while he was governor.

It could be recalled that Ex-governor Kalu resigned as a member Peoples Progressive Alliance (PPA) yesterday, Tuesday Nov. 15.
On November 16, he joined APC. He is seen here addressing leadership of the party on his decision to join.
