Former SGF Babachir Lawal, arraigned, pleads not guilty

Former secretary to the government, of the federation, Babachir Lawal, has been arraigned by the economic and financial crimes commission, EFCC, before an FCT high court, Abuja

Babachir Lawal, pleaded not guilty to the 10 count charges levelled against him for an offence boarding on conspiracy and fraud.

The President had in October 2017, sacked Lawal, following a report on the investigation lead by the Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, on the fraud allegations leveled against him.
