Fresh crisis looms for Igbo traders in Ghana
Fres crisis is looming for Igbo traders in Ghana as the Ghana Union of Traders (GUTA) has resolved to stamp these traders out of the country.
See below a statement released by GUTA threatening the traders:
Recall that recently, over Six Hundred Shops belonging to Nigerian Traders in Ghana have been opened to business by the Ghanaian government having been under lock and key for over Six months.
The President, National Association of Nigerian Traders (NANTS), Dr Ken Ukaoha disclosed this on Solidarity visit to the Chairman/CEO, NIDCOM, Hon Abike Dabiri-Erewa, in Abuja.
Dr Ukaoha stated that the visit to NIDCOM is to commend and appreciate the Chairman/CEO Hon Abike Dabiri-Erewa for her untiring and unrelenting efforts in resolving the lockdown of Nigerian shops in Ghana for over Six Months.
