Fresh trouble for Ike Ekweremadu in UK
Former Deputy Senate President Mr Ike Ekweremadu might be in another trouble while serving his jail term in the United Kingdom.
The Enugu State born politician is currently serving 10 years in prison for human trafficking.
Senator Ekweremadu is reportedly under investigation by the London Metropolitan Police in a new case linked to him.
According to a documentary titled “Daniel vs Ekweremadu,” the police are investigating a case involving Ekweremadu, although details of the case are shrouded in secrecy due to the ongoing investigation.
The documentary reveals that a woman was arrested in November 2022 on suspicion of conspiracy to exploit for organ harvesting, but has since been released under investigation.
Police authorities in the United Kingdom have declined to comment on the case over the ongoing investigation, but the documentary sheds light on the circumstances surrounding Ekweremadu’s conviction and his fall from deputy senate president to convict.
