Fury, Usyk to clash tonight in blockbuster rematch

The stage is set for a thrilling showdown in the world of heavyweight boxing as Tyson Fury and Oleksandr Usyk prepare to face off in a highly anticipated rematch.

The two fighters went head-to-head at the weigh-in on Friday, with Fury weighing in at a career-heaviest 281lbs, while Usyk tipped the scales at 226lbs.

Fury, determined to avenge his first professional defeat, has adopted a more focused approach to his training. According to his training partner, Moses Itauma, Fury has been training like a “lone wolf,” with a newfound intensity and dedication.

“I’ve never seen Tyson so focused and driven,” Itauma said. “He’s been training like a man possessed, and I think he’s going to be a different fighter this time around.”

Usyk, on the other hand, appears calm and collected, stating that he’s feeling “nothing” ahead of the fight.

The Ukrainian fighter’s promoter, Alexander Krassyuk, has noted a significant change in Fury’s demeanor, describing him as “so focused, concentrated”.

“Tyson is a different person this time around,” Krassyuk said. “He’s not as relaxed and joking as he was before the first fight. He’s very serious and focused, and I think that’s going to make for a very interesting fight.”

The rematch is set to take place at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London, with thousands of fans expected to pack the venue.

The fight will be broadcast live on pay-per-view, with millions of boxing enthusiasts around the world tuning in to see who will emerge victorious.

Will Fury’s newfound intensity and bulk be enough to take down the undefeated Usyk, or will the Ukrainian’s skill and strategy prove too much for the British fighter?
